Over the past ten years, our community has gathered together in Lotus House to shelter, support, and uplift women, youth and children who are vulnerable and experiencing homelessness, so that they might realize the promise of a safe, secure home and happy and healthy lives. We have all been enriched by the fruit of their potential realized and the gift of service to ourselves. A redevelopment of Lotus House facilities will provide increased shelter capacity desperately needed for homeless women, youth and children in our community and expanded support services for Lotus House and our Overtown neighborhood. With your help, this new project, aptly named Lotus Village, will be life changing, empowering and enriching those in need, now and for generations to come.
